Campagne is a French commune with 161 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Noyon and the municipal association Pays Noyonnais .

geography

Campagne is located in the Pays Noyonnais on the Canal Latéral à l'Oise , 98 kilometers northeast of Paris , 88 kilometers northwest of Reims , 8 kilometers northwest of Noyon and 6.6 kilometers southwest of the canton capital Guiscard , between the neighboring communities of Catigny in the southwest and Frétoy-le -Château in the northeast.

history

Campagne was mentioned in a document as Campaignes 1084. In 1793 Campagne received in the course of the French Revolution (1789-1799) the status of a municipality and in 1801 the right to local self-government. From 1828 to 1832, however, the place belonged to Catigny. The community received the Order of Croix de guerre 1914-1918 for services in World War I on February 15, 1921.
