Johannes Brocker

John Broecker (* 10. April 1950 in Kiel ) is a German economist majoring in Regional Economics and forwards as Professor of International and Regional Economic Relations, the Institute for Regional Research at the University of Kiel .

Life

Bröcker was born in Kiel in April 1950 and studied economics in Freiburg im Breisgau and Kiel.

After graduating in 1974 , he successfully completed his doctorate in 1983 with the distinction summa cum laude, also at the University of Kiel. His habilitation followed in 1992 in Kiel on the topic of numerical multiregional equilibrium analysis .

In 1993 he was appointed professor for macroeconomics and space management at the Technical University of Dresden , but followed the call back to the University of Kiel in 2000.
