Johannes Brüggemann

Johannes Brüggemann (born August 1, 1907 in Leipzig , † December 11, 1982 in Vienna ) was a German veterinarian and university professor.

Life

Brüggemann studied chemistry and veterinary medicine at the University of Leipzig and received his doctorate here in 1932. med. vet. From 1933 he was senior assistant at the University of Veterinary Medicine Berlin (from 1934 University of Berlin ), completed his habilitation in 1936, became a lecturer in 1937 and an adjunct professor in the field of "Veterinary Physiology and Physiological Chemistry" at the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Berlin in 1942 . In 1948 he followed a call to the chair for animal nutrition at the University of Kiel . From 1950 to 1975 he was director of the Institute for Physiology / Physiology and Nutrition of Animals at the Veterinary Medicine Faculty of the University of Munich .
