Johannes Brüns (born August 30, 1903 in Essen , † May 7, 1965 in Essen- Borbeck ) was a German politician.

Life

The worker's son attended elementary school and then completed an apprenticeship as a miner . Between 1951 and 1957 he worked at the Amalie colliery , where he was also chairman of the works council . Eventually he retired as a mountain invalid.

In 1946 he joined the CDU and between 1948 and 1959 was on the city ​​council of Essen and chairman of the social committee. From October 26, 1959 to November 28, 1960 in the 3rd Bundestag as successor to the late Johannes Kunze .
