John Chrysostom Blaschkewitz OSB (* 27. January 1915 in Bely , † 3. October 1981 in Niederalteich ) was a German Order spiritual .

Life

He put his profession in Niederaltaich on October 27, 1947 and received the priesthood in Rome on 1 June 1952, the Archimandritenweihe in Rome on 4 October 1979. After graduation at the Pontificio Istituto Orientale 1955 Dr. theol. he became a lecturer in Russian church history at the University of Salzburg . He was buried in Niederaltaich on October 7, 1981.
