Johannes Dieker

Johannes Dieker (born October 8, 1880 in Lichtenvoorde ; † June 26, 1968 in Coesfeld ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, Dieker completed a commercial apprenticeship and from 1905 worked for the general local health insurance fund in Bocholt . After working for the Christian trade unions, he returned to the AOK as managing director and later as administrative director. From 1939 to 1945 he was conscripted for the Coesfeld district administration. He was married and had six children.

Dieker was a center member and in 1945 was one of the founding members of the CDU in the Coesfeld district . From 1945 to 1953 he was the first district chairman of the CDU.

He was a member of the district council of the district of Coesfeld from 1946 to September 30, 1951. From April 3, 1946 to November 28, 1949 he was district administrator of the district of Coesfeld.

On March 28, 1964 Dieker was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon.
