Johannes Eilert

Johannes Eilert (born November 15, 1895 in Hildesheim ; † September 22, 1967 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Eilert attended elementary and middle school in Hildesheim, where he was born. He then began an apprenticeship as a locksmith. From 1912 to 1914 he was employed in the Senkingwerk in Hildesheim and later switched to a job in Wilhelmshaven at the shipyard. In the First World War he entered the military and worked as a stoker in the 2nd Torpedo Division since 1915. After the end of the war, he took over the management of the workshop of master Schulze in Hildesheim from 1919 and then various activities at other companies. At the beginning of the Second World War he was foreman at Kali Chemie AG in Sehnde . From 1940 to 1944 he also took part in military service as a soldier in World War II . After the war he continued his old job.

Between August 23, 1946 and October 29, 1946, Eilert was a member of the Hanoverian Landtag . He then became an appointed member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament between December 9, 1946 and March 28, 1947.
