Johannes Friedrich Wilde
Johannes Friedrich Wilde (effective in the area of Wismar 1689-1718) was a German painter and altar builder who worked in West Mecklenburg. Further details of the life of Wild are not known.
Works
- In 1689 Wilde created the altar painting. There are four evangelists for the village church of Alt Sammit around the bright Easter sun .
- Wilde built the baroque altarpiece for the medieval village church of Kalkhorst and signed it: This altar has inventoried vnd vermalet Ioh. Friedr. Wild Anno 1708.
- In 1701 the altar of the village church in Friedrichshagen was built .
- In 1712 he created the painting of a crowning of thorns for the village church of Groß Trebbow
- In 1718 he created the altar of the village church in Gressow , the pulpit of which he had designed in 1703.
- The altarpiece from 1718 in the Börzow village church , a two-storey structure with rich acanthus carving, is also attributed to him.
