Johannes Hältz (* around 1390 in Cologne , † 1449 in Strasbourg ) was a German builder of the Gothic style .
Johannes Hältz came from Cologne. It is believed that he was apprenticed to the Parler family . After Ulrich von Ensingen's death in 1419, Hältz was in charge of the Strasbourg construction works and built the top of the north tower on Strasbourg Cathedral , which was completed in 1439.
In his home town of Cologne a street and a square are named after Johannes Hältz.
