Johannes Kaltenboeck

Johannes Kaltenboeck (born June 29, 1853 in Bozen , † October 25, 1927 in Stuttgart ) was an Austrian writer.

Life

Johannes (recte: Alfred Johann) Kaltenboeck wrote numerous adventure novels under the pseudonyms Max Felde , Fritz Holten and Andries van Straaden and with the outbreak of World War I also numerous patriotic war experiences. Little is known about his life. It was not until 1897 that he appeared as the editor of the boys 'newspaper Der Gute Kamerad and editor-in-chief of the girls ' newspaper Das Kränzchen . He held this post until 1917.
