Johannes Gap

Johannes Lücke (born July 1, 1901 in Osnabrück ; † December 19, 1968 there ) was a German SPD politician .

Life and work

After elementary school, Lücke completed an apprenticeship as a baker. He was a co-founder of the Association of Bakers and Confectioners , of which he became chairman in 1928. From 1930 he was chairman of the works council at the consumer and savings association Osnabrück . After the dissolution of the consumer cooperatives by the National Socialists in 1933, he became unemployed. During the Second World War he was a soldier and was taken prisoner of war, from which he returned to Osnabrück in 1946.

Political party

Lücke had been a member of the SPD since 1918. Since 1946 he was the full-time party secretary in the Osnabrück sub-district.

Lücke was councilor in Osnabrück. From 1957 to 1965 he was a member of the German Bundestag .
