Johannes Lange (born November 16, 1985 in Jena ) is a German writer.

Life

Johannes Lange has lived in Kahla in Thuringia since he was born . After graduation he began in 2005 to study German literature , foreign German studies and media studies at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena , which he successfully completed the 2011th

Lange has been a member of the Thuringian Literary Society since 2008 and has been a board member there since 2009. Lange's first novel Ein Heide geht pilgern was published in 2008. In 2008, Lange received the first jury prize at the Eobanus Hessus writing competition, and in 2009 he was a prizewinner at the Young Literature Forum Hessen-Thuringia.

Since 2009, in addition to Romina Nikolic and Moritz Gause , Lange has also been the organizer of the Lautschrift event, a monthly reading stage for young authors in Jena. Lange is also a course leader for a working group "(creative) writing" at the state high school "Leuchtenburg" in Kahla. In 2009 Lange began working as an author on Daniel Caleb Thompson's three-part comic project "Gossip - The Expulsion of the Bauhaus", Volume I of which was published in 2009.
