Johannes Maringer

Johannes Maringer SVD (* 1902 in Cologne , † 1981 in Sankt Augustin ) was a German prehistoric scientist .

Life

After receiving his doctorate , he worked at the Anthropos Institute Posieux from 1942 to 1952 . From 1952 to 1959 he was Professor of Prehistoric Anthropology at Nanzan University and Director of the Ichikawa Archaeological Institute . From 1959 to 1963 and 1967 he was an employee of the Anthropos Institute St. Augustin. From 1963 to 1967 he was a research assistant at the Vatican Museums in Rome.
