Johannes Matthäus Pörtner

John Matthew Pörtner , even Father Innocent (* 21st September 1747 in Oberelsbach , district Rhön-grave field , † 8. February 1790 in Mainz ) was a German Augustinian - Father and singer.

Life

Pörtner last worked in the Augustinian monastery in Mainz and was considered an important singer whose “beautiful voice” was mentioned in obituaries after his death .
