Johannes Michael Rainer
Johannes Michael Rainer (born April 30, 1956 in Graz ) is an Austrian legal historian .
Life
From 1975 to 1980 he studied law in Innsbruck , there from 1975 to 1980 history, archeology, classical and modern Romance philology in Innsbruck and from 1980 to 1982 history in Graz . After graduating as Dr. iur. 1980 at the University of Innsbruck , Dr. phil. 1982 at the University of Graz ( The followers of Mithras in the western border provinces of the Roman Empire ) and habilitation in Graz in 1988, he became professor for Roman law and modern private law in Salzburg in 1995.
