Johannes Moss (born January 10, 1986 in Karlsruhe ) is a German actor .

Life

Moss was born in 1986 to a German-South African father and a German-American mother in Karlsruhe and grew up in Bavaria and Thuringia . He lives in Berlin .

Moss completed his acting studies at the University of Music and Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig in 2008 as the youngest German-speaking graduate. Theater engagements followed, most recently until 2016 at the Rostock Volkstheater . He worked with Volker Lösch, Wolfgang Engel and Sewan Latchinian, among others.

Johannes Moss gained his first film experience during his studies. He played in the documentation Händl of MDR with, and in the short film footsteps , directed by Christoph Schuler .

In 2009 he played his first leading role as Ritch in the movie Mein Prinz. My king , a severely traumatized young man who meets his rapist. Directed by Ciril Braem-Tscheligi . Shortly afterwards he played the role of Mike in the Sat.1 series Alone Among Mothers .

This was followed by a work for arte , as well as appearances in university films by the dffb and the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy . Most recently Johannes Moss played in the film Amokspiel , directed by Oliver Schmitz .
