Alone Among Mothers is a German TV film from 2011 . After Alone Among Schoolchildren (2009), the comedy is the second sequel to Alone Among Daughters (2007). The series was continued in 2012 with the film Alone Among Neighbors ; In 2014 the film Alone Among Doctors was added.

Harald Westphal is a widowed, single father of three daughters. While the oldest daughter is doing an internship in Australia, the second daughter Marla is in the midst of high school stress. As a former Bundeswehr soldier , Harald trains his youngest daughter Flo in athletics. When he learns that his 17-year-old daughter Marla is pregnant by a young Finnish musician, the world collapses for him. In addition, his new partner Sabine is expecting a baby from him. Harald decides to take on the upbringing of both babies, even if he is overwhelmed. Meanwhile, his youngest daughter Flo feels neglected and is looking for an adoptive family on her own.
