Alone Among Daughters is a German television film from 2007 with Hannes Jaenicke in the lead role. The comedy was first broadcast on Sat.1 on October 16, 2007 and has had four sequels so far.

action

When her mother dies in an accident, 17-year-old Jessy takes responsibility for herself and her two younger sisters. One day, her father Harald, a battle-tested ex- Bundeswehr soldier, who once left his wife and children for combat missions, is at the door . Accustomed to his own command style, he finds it difficult to perceive his new role as a househusband and father of three daughters and to empathize with the girls' emotional world. The children do everything they can to get rid of their father, who in turn doesn't like the fact that his eldest is hooking up with the class crush Sascha.

criticism

"Turbulent (TV) family comedy, in the course of which the two opponents, who are not so different in character, learn to accept each other."

“The young actresses do a great job, but the script is flat. - Real effort, only the basis is missing. "

Sequels

So far the film has had four sequels: Alone Among Schoolchildren (2009), Alone Among Mothers (2011), Alone Among Neighbors (2012) and Alone Among Doctors (2014).
