There is a German television film from 2009 with Hannes Jaenicke in the leading role among the pupils alone . The comedy is the first of four sequels to date of the 2007 television film Alone Among Daughters .

Ex- Bundeswehr soldier Harald Westphal is a widowed, single father of three daughters. At his daughters' school, he dares to make a fresh start as a sports and geography teacher. The students, including his daughter Marla, want to get rid of him first. His unconventional teaching methods, which were shaped by his military service, lead to entanglements and he falls in love with the headmistress Sabine Mehrbusch.
