Reviews

"Continuation of 'Alone Among Daughters' (2006) as a (television) family comedy about the difficulties of growing up and the need for tolerance."

“After 'Alone Among Daughters', Hannes Jaenicke is back as Harald Westphal. Director and comedy specialist Oliver Schmitz ('The best piece', 'Princess makes blue', 'Suddenly famous') shot this sequel again based on a script by Carolin Hecht ('Angel of Revenge - The Voice from the Dark', two weeks boss "). Just as predictable as its predecessor, this comedy convinces again with the actors and a few funny details. "

“The family comedy 'Alone Among Schoolchildren' continues what began three years ago with 'Alone among daughters'. [...] All of this does not make 'Alone Among Pupils' a relevant satire, neither on school and pupils, nor on the military. What keeps you on the screen is not the question of whether Westphal will finally pass the teaching examination and win over the lovely director (Dana Golombek). No, it is above all the protagonist who gives this film its charm. This lieutenant colonel a. D. does not appear as a shooting gallery figure, but as a good-willed, downright pitiful person who suffers from his idiosyncratic manners himself. "

“The humorous follow-up to 'Alone Among Daughters'… shows a pleasantly self-deprecating Hannes Jaenicke in the best of moods. And for his 'daughters' there is the grade 'one'! "
