Johannes Palaschko

Johannes Palaschko (born July 13, 1877 in Berlin ; † October 21, 1932 there ) was a German composer , violinist and violist who composed works for both instruments.

Career

In 1891 he became a violin student with Joseph Joachim , studied music theory with Ernst Eduard Taubert and composition with Heinrich von Herzogenberg . In 1899 he graduated from the Hochschule für Musik, Berlin . Palaschko wrote about 500 etudes for violin and 200 for viola. He also composed works for violin and piano. His estate is kept in the Saxon State Library - Dresden State and University Library.
