Johannes Recher
Johannes Recher (born November 23, 1783 in Ziefen ; † December 29, 1860 there ) was a Swiss politician .
Life
Recher was several times mayor of Ziefen and a member of the Basel Grand Council and, in 1831, of the Small Council . In the new half-canton of Basel-Landschaft , he represented the so-called party of order from 1833 to 1838 and sat in the district administrator in 1846 and in the constitutional council in 1838 and 1850 . Between 1838 and 1844 he was conservative Government .
