from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Johannes Vehlow (born September 21, 1890 in Rügenwalde , Western Pomerania , † March 6, 1958 in Berlin ) was a German astrologer .

Life

Vehlow's main work was the eight-volume course in scientific birth astrology , in which he tried to establish astrology scientifically. The first edition was published by Gregor A. Gregorius , the founder of the magical lodge Fraternitas Saturni , for which Vehlow also made other contributions.

In 1925 he created a horoscope for Reich Chancellor Paul von Hindenburg and in 1933 a horoscope for Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler . In the summer of 1941 Vehlow was imprisoned for six months as part of the esoteric and astrologer raid after Rudolf Hess , who was then considered a fan of esoteric and astrology, and was banned from working . After the war and Soviet imprisonment, he returned to astrology. In 1955 he finished the eight-volume teaching course started in 1926.

Vehlow represented a form of astrology that was more strongly oriented towards its origins ( "ancient manner" ).
