Johannes Weingart

Johannes Weingart (born July 31, 1949 in Ellwangen (Jagst) ) is a specialist in internal medicine , physical and rehabilitative medicine , special pain therapy , sports medicine and osteopathy . He is also active as an author and is the managing director of DOC Weingart GmbH & Co. KG, which develops dietary supplements .

Life

Weingart studied business administration at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, which he graduated with a diploma. He then studied human medicine at this university. He completed his specialist training as an internist in the Harlachinger Hospital in Munich in cardiology. In 1981 he received his doctorate on the subject of "Illnesses and accidents during high mountain expeditions". For 15 years he was the head internist at the orthopedic rehabilitation clinic. During this time he completed his osteopathic training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and with the most renowned teachers at Michigan State University and at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Weingart is the initiator and founder of the German American Academy for Osteopathy (DAAO) and the European Society for Proliferation Therapy (EAPro). The aim of this society is to make proliferation therapy - an injection method for the regeneration of joints and incompetent ligaments and tendons - public in Europe. He is the only doctor in Europe who trains doctors in this technique, which is popular in the USA. He advises the publishers of the magazines Nature Fitness and Natural, Healthy + Munter .

Since 1997, Weingart has been particularly concerned with the development and research of processes with the help of which statements about the biological age of humans and their performance can be made. As part of this activity, he advises national teams of Nordic combined as well as athletes in figure skating, golf, wrestling and cycling. He advises the industry and develops health concepts for companies and their employees.

As part of this activity, Weingart has developed energy-promoting products that are used both in high-performance sport and by high-performers in industry.

Since 2004 he has been running a private practice in the Department of Internal Medicine at the three-country clinic in Ravensburg. His main areas of activity are energy management for active people and joint regeneration therapy as well as pain therapy.

He is married to Barbara Weingart. You have four children. The family lives near Isny in the Allgäu .
