John Allan (manager)
John Murray Allan (* 1948 ) is a British manager .
He was Chief Executive Officer at the British logistics group Exel , which was taken over by Deutsche Post in 2005 for 5.5 billion euros . In 2006, Allan became a member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Post for the logistics division with headquarters in Bracknell . From 2007 to 2009 he was responsible for the finance and global business services departments, his successor as the logistics director was Frank Appel . He is the direct successor to Edgar Ernst in the finance department . John Murray Allan is credited with extensive experience in Mergers & Acquisitions , Cash Management , Controlling and Accounting, and Financial Reporting .
