John Bellamy Foster (2013)

John Bellamy Foster (born August 19, 1953 ) is an American journalist, sociologist, essayist and eco-socialist and editor of the Marxist magazine Monthly Review .

Foster is a professor of sociology at the University of Oregon at Eugene . He has published on topics such as political economy and environmental sociology , and is concerned with Marxist theory.

Foster has written comments on the development path of eco-communalism within the scenario series The Great Transition presented by the Global scenario group .
