John Bostwick

John Henry Bostwick (born May 3, 1939 in Nassau , Bahamas ) is a politician of the Free National Movement (FNM) of the Bahamas.

Life

Bostwick, son of Edmond Charles Bostwick and Maud Aleen Johnson, graduated from school with a law degree from the University of Exeter , which he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in 1963 . He then worked as a lawyer and as Attorney General (Crown Counsel) operates the government. In the mid-1970s he began his political involvement in the Free National Movement (FNM), of which he was chairman between 1977 and 1982. He was then a member of the Senate for the first time from 1982 to 1987 . In 1992 he became a member of the Senate again and served as President of the Senate between 1992 and 2002.

Bostwick has been married to Janet Gwenette Musgrove since August 30, 1961 , who was, among other things, Attorney General and Secretary of State. From this marriage the four children Margot, Kelley, Lisa and John were born.
