The Senate of the Bahamas is the upper house in the bicameral system of Bahamas.

The 16 members of the Senate are appointed by the Governor General. Nine of these senators are appointed on the advice of the prime minister, four on the advice of the leader of the opposition and three on the advice of the prime minister after consultation with the leader of the opposition.

The seat of the House of Lords is located in the capital Nassau .
