John C. Heenan
John C. Heenan (born May 2, 1835 in Troy , New York , USA , † October 28, 1873 in Green River , Wyoming , USA ) was an American boxer in the bare knuckle era.
Heenen, who was quite muscular for the time, was considered a smart boxer and had a successful career. He was inducted into the Ring Boxing Hall of Fame in both 1954 and the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2002 .
