John Angus Paul Collins (born January 31, 1968 in Galashiels ) is a former Scottish football player and current coach who currently coaches Sporting Charleroi .

Career

The Scot began his career with Hibernian Edinburgh in 1984. In 1990 he moved to league rivals Celtic Glasgow . The AS Monaco took the midfielder in 1996 in the first French league . Collins only lasted there for two years, as he was signed by Everton in 1998 . Two years later, in the summer of 2000, the Scot moved for the last time, this time to Fulham FC . There he ended his career in 2003. Collins took part in three important tournaments with the Scottish national team. He was at the 1990 World Cup in Italy , the 1996 European Championship in England , and the 1998 World Cup in France . His greatest successes were winning the Scottish Cup in 1995 with Celtic Glasgow and winning the French championship in 1997 with AS Monaco.
