John Creighton Campbell

John Creighton Campbell (born June 12, 1941 in New York ) is an American Japanologist.

Life

He earned a BA from Columbia College (1965) and a PhD in Political Science ("Honors") from Columbia University's East Asian Institute (1973). He teaches at the Department of Political Science, University of Michigan : Professor Emeritus (since 2007); Professor (1991-2007); Associate Professor (1980–1991); Assistant professor (1973–1980).
