Diego Assis Figueiredo , also known as Diego Assis (born September 14, 1987 in the state of Minas Gerais ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Diego Assis signed his first contract in 2010 with the Swedish club Assi IF in Risögrund . For the club he played 48 times in Division 3 until 2012 . In 2013 he moved to Mariehamn at IFK Mariehamn . Here he played 100 games in the Veikkausliiga , the highest league in the country, and scored 24 goals. In 2015 he won the Finnish Cup with the club . He became champion with the club in 2016. In 2017 he moved to Asia . Here he signed a contract in Thailand with the Thai Honda Ladkrabang FC playing in the Thai League . After relegation to the Thai League 2 , he left the club and went to the United Arab Emirates , where he joined al Ain Club from al-Ain . The club played in the highest league, the UAE Arabian Gulf League . In August 2019 he left the club and moved to Indonesia . Here took in the first division Madura United FC under contract. At the end of 2019, his contract was not extended. He has been without a contract or association since the beginning of 2020.
