Risögrund is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Norrbotten County , in the historical province (landskap) Norrbotten .

Risögrund belongs to the municipality of Kalix and within this, since January 1, 2016, to the district of Nederkalix, named after the parish (socken), which has had this name since 1644. It is about 55 km as the crow flies northeast of the provincial capital Luleå and 7 km southeast of the center of Kalix on the left bank of the Kalixälven river opposite Nyborg , a little above the mouth of the Baltic Sea in the Bottenwiek .

With almost 600 inhabitants (2015) Risögrund is the fifth largest town in the municipality. The northern part of the place is also known as Risön .

Europastraße 4 ( Europaväg 4 ) leads north past the village ; The secondary provincial road BD 709 runs through the village, which branches off the Europastraße between the northwestern neighboring Bredviken and Risögrund and continues into the southeastern neighboring Karlsborg .
