Påläng (locally also Pålänge ) is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Norrbotten , in the historical province (landskap) Norrbotten .

Påläng belongs to the municipality of Kalix and within this, since January 1, 2016, to the district of Nederkalix, named after the parish (socken), which has had this name since 1644. It is a good 40 km as the crow flies northeast of the provincial capital Luleå and a good 12 km southwest of Kalix , not far from a bay of the Baltic Sea's Bottenwiek . The bay is called Rånöfjärden to the south and Siknäsfjärden to the west .

The secondary provincial road BD 703 runs through the town, which branches off from Europastraße 4 ( Europaväg 4 ) in Rolfs near Kalix and continues from Påläng along the coast to Sören ; From there, at Töre , 15 km away, there is again a connection to the E 4.
