John Flammang cabinet (March 5, 1876 - September 15, 1943 ) was a bartender from the Bavarian Kingdom. He owned a bar in Milwaukee , where on October 14, 1912 he carried out a shooting attack on presidential candidate Theodore Roosevelt . He survived the assassination, as his folded manuscript and his glasses case in his jacket pocket dampened the shot. The projectile was in his chest until Roosevelt's death and was never removed.
