John Fitzpatrick (athlete)
John Fitzpatrick ( John Richardson "Johnny" Fitzpatrick ; born March 21, 1907 in Toronto , † July 9, 1989 ibid) was a Canadian sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 , he was fifth over 200 m and reached the semi-finals over 100 m . In the 4 x 100 meter relay , he was disqualified in the final with the Canadian team.
In 1930, at the British Empire Games in Hamilton, he won bronze over 100 yards , silver over 200 yards and gold with the Canadian 4-by-110-yard relay.
In 1930 he was Canadian champion over 200 m.
