John Frederick Bailey

John Frederick Bailey (born August 5, 1866 in Brisbane , † May 19, 1938 ibid) was an Australian botanist and gardener .

Live and act

John Frederick Bailey became director of the Brisbane Botanical Gardens in 1905 . He took over from his father, Frederick Manson Bailey , from 1915 to 1916 , who was the Queensland State Botanist . From 1917 to 1932 he was director of the Adelaide Botanical Gardens.
