John Gray (athlete)
John Joseph Gray (born December 24, 1894 in Manayunk , Philadelphia , † June 1942 ) was an American long-distance runner .
In 1924 he qualified over 10,000 m with his personal best of 32: 16.5 min for the Olympic Games in Paris , where he came in 15th. In cross-country he gave up, but like the rest of the US team was awarded a silver medal.
