John Jay College of Criminal Justice

The John Jay College of Criminal Justice is a college of criminology and related fields in Midtown Manhattan and is part of the City University of New York . It was founded in 1964 as the College of Police Science and is named after John Jay , one of the United States' founding fathers and the first Chief Justice on the Supreme Court . 14,000 people are taught there.

It is the only college in the United States that specializes in criminology and the related sciences. The students can acquire the academic degree of Bachelor or Master .
