John Kallenbach (born January 29, 1983 in Saalfeld / Saale) is a German kickboxer and world champion of the WKU , WKA , ISKA and IKBO .

Life

Kallenbach discovered his passion for kickboxing at the age of 17. He has been actively training kick and Thai boxing since 2003 . In 2005 he had his first Thai boxing match. From 2007 to 2011 Kallenbach had a lot of success in the amateur field. The peak of his amateur career was in 2009 when he became two-time WKA amateur world champion in Spain. Another highlight was the 2010 WKA Pro / Am European Champion title in Hanau . In 2014 Kallenbach opened his own kick and Thai boxing school under the name "INVICTUS" in Saalfeld. In 2014, together with the Saale-Orla-Kreis savings bank, he started the project “Courage against drugs”, which is offered in schools to educate young people about drugs, their consumption, effects and consequences. In addition, team spirit, respect for one another and fun in sport are conveyed in training units, but also the overcoming of physical limits and their often far too fast appearance in everyday life. In 2016, Kallenbach completed his training as a certified fitness and personal trainer. Since 2014, Kallenbach has held a Fightnight every year in the immediate vicinity of the INVICTUS martial arts school. In 2019, this series was immortalized with a highlight of the first Fightnight in Kallenbach's hometown Pößneck , when he successfully defended his WKU professional world champion title in K1 / kickboxing 76 kg.
