John Klyberg

Charles John Klyberg (born July 29, 1931 - January 16, 2020 in Hythe ) was a British Anglican bishop and later Catholic clergyman .

Life

Klyberg studied Anglican theology at Eastbourne College and Lincoln Theological College . After his ordination as an Anglican priest, he worked in the parish of St John's in East Dulwich and then as rector at Fort Jameson in Zambia . He then worked in the Christ Church and St Stephen parish in Battersea and then became dean of Lusaka in Zambia. He was the successor to Brian Masters from 1985 to 1996 Anglican Bishop of Fulham . John Broadhurst was his successor . On the occasion of the approval of women's ordination in the Church of England , Klyberg converted to the Roman Catholic Church . He was ordained a Catholic priest and in 2000 was made an honorary prelate by Pope John Paul II . John Broadhurst, Andrew Burnham and Keith Newton , who converted on January 1, 2011, went the same way .
