John Martínez
John Edilberto Martínez Montero (born May 13, 1983 in Sogamoso ) is a Colombian road cyclist.
John Martínez won a stage in the Vuelta Ciclista del Ecuador in 2005 . From 2007 he drove for the Colombian team UNE-Orbitel . In his first year there he won a stage at the Vuelta a Cundinamarca and was third in the overall standings. In 2009 he was successful with the team in the team time trial of the Clásico RCN . From 2010 to 2011 Martínez drove for Colombia es Pasión-Café de Colombia and since 2012 he has been driving for the Continental Team Colombia-Comcel . With Colombia-Comcel he won the team time trial of the Vuelta a Bolivia in 2012 and was fifth overall. The following year he reached the podium of this tour in third place.
