John Mayaka

John Mayaka (* 1948 in Nyamira County , † February 23, 2019 in Nyamira ) was a Kenyan javelin thrower .

In 1973 he won silver at the Africa Games in Lagos . At the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch in 1974, he won bronze with the African record of 77.56 m.

In 1978 he won bronze at the Africa Games in Algiers and finished eighth at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton .
