John Ngeno (athlete, 1953)
John Ngeno ( John Kipkemo (Arap) Ngeno; born April 11, 1953 ) is a former Kenyan long-distance runner .
At the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 , he was eighth over 5000 m and sixth over 10,000 m .
In 1974 he became US cross-country champion . Starting for Washington State University from 1974 to 1976 he was NCAA champion over six miles or 10,000 m and NCAA indoor champion over three miles three times in a row ; In 1975 he also won the NCAA three-mile outdoor title.
In 1977 he won over 10,000 m at the ISTAF Berlin .
