Osborne married Irma Amelia de Malkhozouny in 1933. The marriage was divorced in 1948 without children. Osborne married Audrey Young that same year. In 1950 Osborne's only child, Camilla Dorothy, was born. In 1955 the parents divorced again. That same year, Osborne married a third time, this time Caroline Fleur Vatcher. He died in France in 1963 at the age of 62. Since Osborne had no male offspring, he was followed by his 3rd uncle Francis D'Arcy Godolphin Osborne as the 12th and last Duke of Leeds . The common ancestor Francis Godolphin Osborne, 1st Baron Godolphin (1777-1850) was great-great-grandfather of John Osborne and great-grandfather of Francis Osborne.
