John Owusu

John Kwabena Owusu (born December 25, 1925 ) is a retired Ghanaian athlete .

In 1952 Owusu competed as one of seven athletes for the Gold Coast at the Summer Olympics in the Finnish capital Helsinki . In the second heat of the 4 x 100 meter relay competition , the team from the Gold Coast with Owusu as third runner and Gabriel Laryea , George Acquaah and Augustus Lawson reached the finish line after a time of 42.1 seconds, but that was the end of the game in round one meant.
