Augustus Lawson

Augustus Odartei Lawson (born May 24, 1930 ) is a former Ghanaian athlete .

In 1952 Lawson competed as one of seven athletes for the Gold Coast at the Summer Olympic Games in the Finnish capital Helsinki . In the second run of the 4 x 100 meter relay competition , the Gold Coast team with Lawson as the final runner and Gabriel Laryea , George Acquaah and John Owusu reached the finish line after a time of 42.1 seconds in fourth, which, however, ended Round one meant.
