John Saxby
John Saxby (* 1925 ) is a British author of children's and youth literature .
life and work
John Saxby was a Royal Air Force pilot , paratrooper school director, lawyer, and businessman. His writing began late. In England, his stories about the pig Eduard Speck (English: Henry Pawk), which he originally wrote for his grandchildren, were discovered by the BBC for the radio. In Germany these stories appeared in two volumes, The Adventures of Eduard Speck and New Adventures by Eduard Speck, and were later translated into Spanish, Catalan, Danish and Chinese.
