John Sykes
John Sykes (* 29. July 1959 in Reading , Berkshire , England ) is an English rock - guitarist , who as a member of the bands Street Fighter, Tygers of Pan Tang , Thin Lizzy , Whitesnake and Blue Murder was known, as well as his solo work.
The best-known and most successful album on which Sykes can be heard is likely to be in 1987 from the year of the same name, which he recorded as a band member of Whitesnake . Together with singer David Coverdale he wrote all the songs (including Still Of The Night , Is This Love? And Children Of The Night ), except for the previously published Here I Go Again and Crying In The Rain .
