John Walters (athlete)

John Walters (born February 22, 1939 ) is a former British shot putter and discus thrower .

At the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 he was starting eighth in the shot put and eleventh in the discus throw for Wales .

He was seven times Welsh champion in the shot put (1965, 1967-1972) and five times in discus (1967, 1968, 1970-1972).
