John Whorton
John Whorton (born March 31, 1978 in Columbus , Ohio ) is an American basketball player .
The 2.05 m tall and 112 kg heavy center played for Kent State University in the USA and the Canterbury Rampages in New Zealand. Then he moved to Europe, where he was active for TSK Würzburg, Kinder London Towers, Darussafaka Istanbul, KK Zadar and FC Porto .
From November 2007 to March 2008 he was under contract with the German Bundesliga club TBB Trier . After his time in Trier, the American moved to Argentina to Obera Tennis Club, for which he went basketball in the 2008/09 season and scored an average of 13.7 points in 10 games.
